What symptoms are normal after egg collection?

Usually there are little symptoms after the egg collection in preparation of the IVF and most of the women can go back to work a few hours after the procedure.
The procedure does not hurt and the symptoms are similar to menstruation cramps. There can occasionally be light spotting 24-48 hours after the procedure. This is not something to worry about as it can be due to scarring in the uterus. If the bleeding intensifies a doctor should be consulted so as to control ovulation.
