Can scarring in my Uterus prevent successful egg collection?

During the IVF process one of the most important aspects is that the egg collection takes place successfully. However it is not automatically to be assumed that the presence of scarring makes it impossible to successfully collect the eggs. The doctor needs to be able to see the follicles in order to place the needle correctly and collect them. With the aid of ultrasound and surgical methods this is usually not a problem.
